Dear Sir, If I am not wrong, you just need a basic virtual payment/transaction server where currency is POINTs and the request/response structure is similar to PayPal. Is that correct? If so, even if your website runs on WordPress, I think I can develop a minimal set for you with pure PHP/MySQL that acts this way as well as logging all the happening transaction to your existing site's transaction table. a. Partner site redirects/puts the user on your server's landing page; b. Your server's landing page collects all the information from the user; c. Optionally, your server throws response to the partner site as PayPal IPN does; d. Upon completion, your server redirects the user back to the partner site's specific page depending on success/failure; e. _POST & _REQUEST variables are to be named following PayPal convention; I hope you will find me eligible for the job.

Hi, I have written several APIs and I'm well versed in Paypal's API (both RESTful and SOAP). I understand exactly what you're trying to accomplish as far as creating an API system on your site where users can make purchases from third party vendors who are also members of your site using the site's point system as a sort of currency for the exchange. I have a few question however... Paypal has two different versions of their API, a SOAP version and RESTful version. I'm assuming your looking for a RESTful API which is the classic Paypal API. Which style of API do you need implemented? Do you need all the exact same API calls as Paypal? You might not have use for some of them like mass pay or subscriptions. I'm guessing you only need the basic Paypal operations. Does your API also need to keep track of the shipping information and other purchase order details? Or simply the basic transaction details. Is the plugin you mentioned a custom built plugin or one you downloaded? There are likely more questions that should be asked but I'll try not burden you with too many of them right now. I just want to get an exact understanding of your project needs in order to give you the most accurate bid possible.
