Problems in Magento after Varnish installed

Hi This is a reopened project because I would like to make a more detailed description about our problems. We do have a VPS server 4,5Gb RAM with Magento 1.8 installed. Three Days ago we did install Varnish turpentine and APC and here are the problems we do have after that: 1: APC is not working at all so we disabled it at the moment 2: Add to cart on frontend it takes up to a minute 3: Slow magento admin 4: In admin are all the changes on products (like descriptions, prices, stock...) not visible - I guess this is a Caching problem all over the admin site 5: Saving product in admin site it takes up to a minute (Before we installed Varnish was 5 sec.) Frontend is working ok just slow add to cart.

Hello, It depend on how varnish configure to RUN, on 80 or 8080. Its also possible that few setting in varnish need some tuning. Basically varnish create Hard cache so you must CTRL+F5 after made changes in Magento. make sure Magento Cache remove from "Cache Management" Best regards Matli Digital
