I am looking for an expert Perl/MySQL programmer to work with me, using Internet telephony (Skype preferred), on a Perl application, for a minimum of 4 hours.
The application is the open source HelpDesk software at [login to view URL]
I need to make certain modifications to that application, but although I'm a programmer myself, I don't know Perl, so I need someone to help me.
So what you are bidding on is not a specific job, but 4 HOURS OF YOUR TIME to work with me. The time will start when we hook up with Skype. I will explain how the software works, what I want changed, and you will do it then and there, and we'll test it together, do some other change, and so on, until the time is up.
In order to get this job, the most important things are:
1. Because you'll be paid for time rather than for a finished result, please provide some references or some other information to indicate that you can do a reasonably good job.
2. I'll need some more modifications to the application in the future, so you should confirm that you would be available in the future to do further work on the same application on similar financial terms as we agree on for this project.
3. Because a big part of this job is talking online, you should have a good command over English and a good Internet connection so there are no bandwidth problem. (low-end DSL or cable is OK, dial-up is not)
Thanks for reading, I look forward to hearing from you...
Marco
