Hello, I need to find multiple local files with a specific string in their filenames, copy their pahts to a text file and replace the first two parts with an IP (C:/folder/subfolder/anumberofsubfolders* -> http://IP/anumberofsubfolders*). That [login to view URL] must be compared with lines in multiple files (sellected as parameters, [login to view URL] or /folder) with /[0-9]+/ as identifier, knowing that only one number between slashes will exist in every line at [login to view URL] and at the files it's being compared with. The url's on the list should be finally appended at the corresponding lines (those cointaining the same identifier) preceeded with a separator (|). Ideally, those lines which have not had anything appended should be deleted, and the resultant file saved. I'm doing this right now using a mix of tools (textpad, funduc's search&replace, filelocator), recorded actions and silly batch files. I'll attach some example source, master and final files, since maybe there are other ways of achieving the goal. Batches using freeware or commercial apps, vbs, python.. anything goes if it does what I need. It doesn't not need to be done in one step.
