Hi, i can make for you a Cron job that select video names from a data base and take the infor in wich format shoudl convert a video and quality. The cron job will run every one minute and if it finds some videos to handle will convert them. I will use ffmpeg. I have previous experience. I also integrated youtube gdata API and vimeo api for some websites. Thanks.

Hi, macemand! Maybe i'm new to this site and its policies, but i really liked your and i'm enthusiastic because i've done this for myself. You dont need any lengthy program or software for this work. A simple PHP or shell script is enough to do encoding and streaming. The only mammoth task is organising your video files. If you like i can show you a very basic encoding PHP script.
