Fix uber uploader problems

I need an individual to help me with my uber uploader problem. I am using the handshakes cms and when trying to upload videos I either get 'error: failed to find flength' or there isn't a progress bar and the screen loads until the video is uploaded in the background and then it redirects to the upload success page. I need my video uploads to work like they should! I am on a shared hosting account with dreamhost, please only bid if you have prior experience!
