I require a knowledgeable VB coder to help shore up two important weak points in my Visual Basic Application.
One point exists where I am using freeware code found at PSC to automate Spell Checking in Word. The code works great with Word95/97, but breaks with Word 2000 and I will assume, XP as well. I need someone to either edit this procedure to support Word2000 and XP automation, or write a new one. Whatever works. I also have found a freeware syntax highlighting snippet which highlights HTML code in an RTF box. The problems with it are that the highlighting procedure is extremely slow and prone to highlighting errors on large files or those with multiline comments. I require a solid syntax coloring snippet for a component of my program.
## Deliverables
- A working code snippet that automates Spell Checking from Word95, 97, 2000 and XP.
- A fast, efficient and correct syntax highlighter that supports HTML/JavaScript/CSS code.
## Deadline information
I'm hoping to ship a second beta of my program by the middle of August and a final release by Spetember 1.
