Taguchi Based Calculation/Prediction Script(repost)

This project is simple if you know what you are doing. You need a solid grounding on the Taguchi method and orthogonal arrays to tackle this project. Of course, you can learn it if you are so inclined. The script should be coded in either Coldfusion or PHP depending on your language expertise. It is CRUCIAL that I can run it on a Linux-based machine. Basically, I need the calculation script to do 2 things. 1) Accept the different groups of variables and the different variables of each group. For example: Group A = 4 versions (1,2,3,4) Group B = 2 versions (1,2) Group C = 5 versions (1,2,3,4,5) Then generate the different recipes to test according to the Taguchi method. I should be able to pass the different groups and variables in XML or aMySQL database. The script should then return the different recipes to test in XML or a MySQL database as well. 2) We'll do the necessary testing on our end. The script does not need to handle this. Once the test has sufficient results, we'll pass the results back to the calculation script. Once again, we'll pass the results back to the script in a MySQL database or XML format. Specifically, we'll tell the calculation script how many desired results we obtained for each different "recipe". The calculation script should then use the Taguchi method to come up with the best combination for optimum results. Eg: Best combination = A1 + B2 + C5 For uniformity, the script should return the most optimum combination in XML format or a MySQL database as well. That's it! That's all the calculation script needs to do. This is VERY simple if you truly understand the Taguchi method of prediction/optimization. However, if you have totally no grounding in this, then you might struggle to firstly understand the concept and formulas involved. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform * Should be written in either Coldfusion or PHP * Must run on RedHat or CentOS Linux * Can make use of MySQL database if necessary * Must accept input and give output in XML format or a MySQL dataabase
