here is what i need:
a php file that i can call using a cron job or another method you think is appropriate that will go to a website and scrape the contents of a table in a page and hold the results in an array.
format is:
| 15770 | 31-10-2007 | 19211 (ICOVER-NANO2)IPOD NANO 2ND GEN SILICON SKIN CASE WITH ARMBAND (PINK) : Discontinued |
where discontinued means that the php file will remove the item from the database deleting by product ID (first field) - same for in stock and out of stock.
I have a php script, easypopulate that takes a tab delimetered file and processes the deletes and changes etc so all that your file would need to do is scrape and wirite the file as a delimeted file to my server with headings and formatted correctly of which I can call your script say once a day and the easypopulate script with ?<filelocation> action etc
secondly, I would like to be able to take an rss feed and import this into my store . a provider allows a stock beed, in stock/out of stock. I want to grab this, look at the status and set my product in my store to the same value, in/out of stock.
Be great if it could also detele old products and add new ones.
Thats basically it.
