Time and Attendance Module added to existing PHP Platform

We have an existing HR management platform that we would like to add an optional Time & Attendance Module onto. Essentially it will be a clocking in/out system that will enable employers to check (through their login interface) what time employees are arriving at and leaving work, as well as going on lunch and returning from lunch. The main issue is that because its cloud-based, employees could just use their smartphone/tablet to clock in/out when they are not actually in the office, which defeats the whole object of the employer ensuring they are at work/the office for the time off they are being paid for. As such, we will need to use a combination of 2 factors to counteract abuse by employees: 1) MAC address for static computers being used at the workplace (or IP) 2) Geolocation for when an employee checks in on the road using their smartphone The system must note if they are not logging in from the office so that the employer can see easily and is made aware, and also provide a field where the employee puts a reason if they do an out-of-office login/logoff. The system is currently logged into by both employers and their employees. So, from an employers perspective, the new module would include the following new menu-items: When clicked on, the main menu would have the following sub-menu items: > Today's login/logout records > Search Login records > Manage T/A >Today's login/logout records would display something like [login to view URL] as per attached > Search Login records would enable the employer to search either: a) By selecting a specific employee from the drop down menu and then selecting a date range so would look something like this if I selected Catherine and the date range 12-14 August. b) By selecting a date range - the employer will select the date range as well as which employees they want to search for (by clicking either 'All' or a check box next to specific employees names) it will then bring up all the records of logins in date order. See image 2 attached > Manage Timekeeper The employer will have the following options ITO additional features to Timekeeper as follows: - Switch on/off Lunch time clock in/out option If they have this switched off, the employee will only have to clock in at the beginning of their shift and out at the end of the shift. If the lunch time clock in is switched to off - Switch on/off E-mail to employer as each employee logs in or out daily If on, the employer will be sent an e-mail as each employee clocks in/out If not, data is merely stored and the employer can use the search option - Set employee Lunch time This would bring up a list of employees and next to this a field where the start end end times for lunch can be inputted/edited If the employer switched the Lunch time clock-in option on (above) they must be prompted to go to this screen and input the times of the various employees lunch times. Employees will then be sent an e-mail as follows: Att: {Employee_Name} Your specific lunch hour has been set by your employer as follows: {Start_Time} to {End_Time} Please ensure that you logoff HR Control and log back on as you leave & return from lunch in addition to your daily clock in/clock off. Then from the employee perspective: The first time they login, if the employer has added the Timekeeper Bolt-on, each employee would need to set their Mac address for the Clocking in process so it would need to prompt them for this as follows: Welcome to HR Control Time & Attendance system. To get started, please enter your computer's MAC address in the field below: If the employer has turned on the the Lunch time clock in/out option this will also need to be utilised and shown so if they had both options their login page would look like this: (see pic 3 attached)
