Extend SabreDav for use with API (PHP)

I've been doing some customization few years ago to add support for ceph storage (via radosgw, so basically it was s3-compatible). I won't need VPS (not a problem to create on in my homelab), what I would need is documentation and preferably access to some kind of staging API (or a way to replicate some features of your service in my environment) to test against

Was not sure whether extending Server and replacing database services, authentication etc using your API (cloud API) would alone suffice; or some implementation for calDAV, cadDAV etc. may also be required.
