I can do this is Flash (SWF), BUT you would be better off to do this with HTML and canvas in the browser that way you don't need a dedicated Adobe player. If I read this correctly your looking at something to do addition maybe something for kids ala learning module. With out using SWF's it will be accessible to more people.
