Read Remote ID3 tags for mp3 / PHP

We have created a script that reads remote ID3 tags ([login to view URL]) from mp3 files. It first has to copy the file to our local server to read. The problem is we only want to copy enough of the file to read the id3 tag to save bandwidth and space. This project is to adjust the attached script to copy the remote mp3 file only until the end of the meta tags are reached. Any questions, please post a PM.
