Hello, My name is Mike Borders. For some reason, my script will not send the activation emails to visitors who sign up to my site. Below are the details. 1) When a visitor signs up to my site, the script does not send the activation email. 2) When the visitor goes to the [login to view URL] page and submits his email address to have it re-sent, the script does not send the activation email 3) In the script's admin panel, whenever I click on the "Re Send Activation" link, the activation email is not sent. I have been hosting this script with the same hosting company for over 8 years and never had this problem. I have Not made any changes to the script in over 2 years. I wonder if the hosting company made changes to their servers which may have affected my script. The company is closed today for Thanksgiving, so I put in a ticket to have one of their technical people take a look at this problem. I would like to have a programmer to take a look at the script once I verify that the hosting company has not made any changes to their servers which could have affected my script. Thanks Mike

Yes today is Thanksgiving day so your hosting company closed and may be next couple days they will stay close. I am a 12 years experienced php develooper from India. Although to check why emails not forwarding not much difficult job. I can write some minor script and find the reason why the same code not working. Please message me.

Hello! They most probably have. And the highest probability candidate is that they have changed the authentication requirement and/or method for the SMTP. You didn't say though whether other means of sending mail (like contact us form, etc), if any, do send or they do not send as well. Regards, Dobri

Hi Mike, There are a couple of things which I think could be affecting your script: 1. The host has changed the version of PHP. You've said that you are going to confirm whether the host has made any changes. If they upgraded PHP one reason might be that Register Globals is turned off by default in newer versions of PHP and this usually breaks scripts which worked perfectly well in older versions. 2. If the way the script sends the emails uses credentials and these credentials are no longer valid then this might break the script. These are two reasons I can think of off the top of my head without actually seeing the script. Regards, Anthony.
