Wordpress & Cloudflare Error 520 - Looking for someone to identify and fix

I have an issue with my 2 Wordpress sites which have both been reporting an Error 520 over the past couple of weeks. I have spent a lot of time reading around this issue online and haven’t made any progress. From what I gather this is a very ‘vague’ error message and I am looking to get some further advice so I can pinpoint the issue. The websites are exactly the same and are both ran through Cloudflare. They are both hosted on iPage but on different accounts and presumably servers ([login to view URL] & [login to view URL]) The issue is very intermittent - it will appears from time to time on various pages and various times throughout the day. It is difficult to replicate the problem by quickly looking at the website and there is no obvious pattern on where, when or why it is happening. My host (iPage) are saying there are no issues on their end. They did acknowledge there was a ‘issue with gr security' on their server however they resolve this and the issue still remained. Their support response has been pretty poor and they tend to throw the problem back to Cloudflare when all the advice suggests an error on the hosting side. I am speaking to a new contact everytime and they seem just want to get rid of me rather than diagnosing the problem. Apparently none of their access logs or analytics suggest any problems on their end. I have provided them the HAR file based on the error appearing but no feedback has been provided. Cloudflare can see the issue appearing on their analytics but don’t have enough info on their side to be able to diagnose the problem. I am not aware of any obvious changes to the site before this problem started cropping up so it is very strange. All the website plugins have been updated to the current versions - I have tried to de-activate some of them and its the same issue. I have de-activated caching plugins and even bypassed Cloudflares caching feature and no luck. If you have any advice on how I can potentially solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
