Hi,
The given source code is written in Visual Basic 6.0. It is a tray application.
There are 2 options here:
1. We can update the existing VB 6.0 code with the functionality of having multiple root folders and a default root folder.
2. We can also rewrite in the latest technology namely VB.NET
Option 1 obviously is a old and legacy technology. This may not work well in the latest Windows.
Option 2 is the latest technology, and can work even in latest version of Windows and can have latest look and feel.
Effort-wise it is going to take almost the same effort. I can get this done in any of the above, based on your preference. Let me know.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks,
Nutan
