First of all, I would like to introduce myself. I am Michael Kassanits. My team and I are
currently launching a project called “Helios”. The main goal of this project is to get people more interested and involved in space exploration. To achieve this goal we are planning to launch cubesats into orbit and give people the ability to send them commands that we are executing (rotation and direction the cubesat is facing). When the person has chosen a time and direction for the satellite we get the commands execute them and take a picture. The person who gave the command is the only one who gets this picture.
Now I will give you more details about the video footage we would need.
The attached pictures called “Orbit” from number 1-4 build upon the basic principle we had in mind.
The Satellite in all these pictures needs to be the same! And they have to move. For the background, I leave it open to you to decide what is easier and more realistic: Use an 3d animated earth, or a 2d picture that moves slowly (img. [url removed, login to view]). The Satellite we would need 3d animated looks roughly like the picture “[url removed, login to view]”. This one needs to be 3d animated because we need videos from all different angles and even movements of the satellite. I also have attached a pdf document with the basic measurements of the CubeSat, so you can imagine roughly how it will look. The one we would need is circled within the green line. Please note that this is just the body and does not include the solar panels etc. like the image “[url removed, login to view]”
We would be very happy to work with you!
