We receive Syslog messages from multiple routers. We want a web application that will allow us to view the information after manipulation. We want to have thresholds that we can set for notification and color coding.
A sample message is as follows:

We would want to be able to associate the IP [login to view URL] with a particular customer to group their messages if their IP address ever changes.
Can use Windows but would prefer Linux. Can be Perl but would prefer Ruby or PHP. Must use MySQL for the backend.

Web Pages:
Page 1 - Add/Edit/Delete Customers
Page 2 - Associate Customers with 1 or more IP addresses that we have received messages from
Page 3 - View grid of all records for a particular customer. Able to sort and filter by all fields in the grid
Page 4 - Setup thresholds for coloring the grid squares and email notification per customer
I can provide mochups of what I want the web pages to look like.
I have live data that you can use to test with.
4-5 Syslog messages come in per database record. The first and last message can come hours apart. They have a unique record and definitive beginning and end message. The application will process each record as it comes in, updating the DB with the new information.

Aloha Bidders, There was a question as to what I meant by a 'calendar app'. I am looking for something similar to what [login to view URL] has on their site when you go to enter a day for a reservation. When you click the box, you get an applet pop up that lets you scroll though the months & days and select a day. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
