ESP32 webserver hosts a local webpage

An ESP32 receiver-gateway working as webserver hosts a simple html page on the router's local area network. For example you write on the url: [login to view URL] and you get the requested webpage. For a better understanding, that webpage has some divs which become red or green depending on the signals that the receiver gets from some ESP32 senders. Every div is dedicated to a particular ESP32 sender.
The matter is if this local area webpage is secure from hackers.
I want to hear solutions or suggestions for improvement.
At the moment, this webpage has a security dialogue which asks a username and a password (for that, there is a piece of html authentication code inside receiver's sketch). After you enter the right credentials, you get in the webpage.
