While the webpage is done, functionality of the site needs to be added.
Please keep in mind that all admin for the site should be very easy, so that a person with limited programming/ internet skills can administer the site.

- Manage Database: Ability to send messages according to demographic fields captured initially
- Fields: name, last name, e-mail, confirm e-mail, gender (drop down), year of birth (drop down), married status (drop down), schooling (drop down), type of job (drop down),
FOR PEOPLE IN MEXICO state (drop down), zip code (drop down – STATE DEPENDENT), city (drop down – ZIP CODE DEPENDENT), township (drop down – CITY DEPENDENT), code to make sure human input. PLEASE CONSIDER THAT STATE, ZIP CODE, CITY, TOWNSHIP IS BASED ON MEXICO INFORMATION. I will provide xl spreadsheet with the information.

- HTML template to communicate messages similar to website (explain how to use it)
Social network capabilities, based on [login to view URL]
- Not an expert in this field, and open to suggestion. What I have seen, and it seems the most cost effective option, is to use the [login to view URL] platform (registering a user name to have analytics ability). They system needs to be in Spanish, as I understand [login to view URL] has this capability. In the bid please specify what you suggest and the cost of this item.
Elements I am looking for, to be included in the website (layout needs to be customized similar to what it currently is on the website).

Ability to comment on articles based on facebook

Each article page to have the option to add comments from facebook. Likely only need one or two pages done and an explanation of how to include in further article pages. Non-facebook users should also be able to post a comment, by filling out their e-mail, the message, and the security code for anti-spamming. Magazine should be able to remove offensive material.
Submit ideas
Probably the same as the one above, but just to make sure listed as a separate item.
Readers will be invited to submit ideas. A sample question: which is the car you like most? Consumers should be able to post the answer on the website. Not an expert, but would image that through facebook account should be one option, and leave another option where just post it with an e-mail and security code for anti spam. Magazine should be able to remove offensive material.
Subscription service
Consumers to purchase a product and included is the subscription to the magazine. Need a simple system for up to 3 products, payment to be made through paypal. Once transaction is completed, consumer will receive a code to download material, such as a music file or pdf file. I believe there is limited capability on current server, thus if download can happen from a different server/ or unexpensive service would be great. The current hosting service is hostgator.com.
Subscription needs to capture all fields from newsletter + address. This database should be easy to manage and use to send out magazines.
Also open to a simpler system that ensures that one consumer can not share code to download material.
Search capabilities
search capabilities by category, author, and keyword for articles. After search performed, display page(s) with related articles.
Rate articles
Each article to have a 1-5 star system for users to rate articles. This information should be helpful on the back end for us to understand favorite articles, thus it should be easy for us to mine the database. Also, include a list in the site to display which are the favorite stories (weekly, monthly, all time) by sub
