I used to run a Digital Marketing Agency and make websites myself, however I don't have the time at the moment with small children running around. I've been given the job of making a fairly simple WordPress website for an artist who wants primarily to be able to showcase his work through a gallery. There's no eCommerce or blog needed and the rest of the site is very simple with a homepage to include latest exhibitions, an about page, a contact page with a simple form and the usual social media links. He likes simplicity and something that's easy to use, so no fancy video homepages. The gallery needs to be able to show non-uniform sizes as the artwork varies in size and shape. Just a title and small piece of text to accompany the work and a call to action (email). All artwork, logo, etc can be supplied as he has a holding page with these elements already. I was planning to use something like Hestia with possibly a gallery plugin. I look forward to hearing from you.
