optimise RDP connection

We have a PC that we RDP Into which is a very fast RDP. however when we connect to the RDP the screen load is very slow and it lags. We need someone to look into the setting and help us speed this up so its not slow. when I say slow what I'm talking about is, for example when you click on something in the rap, even though it loads fast within the RDP, the screen and mouse refresh rate is exteamly slow. I'm sure its a simple fix but we don't have an Network administrator to do this. You can team view into our system and fix this for us.
