This project involves using CSS to re-size and center images, of various sizes and proportions into two templates - one with a thumbnail image, the other with the full-size version. The thumbail template can be seen at: [login to view URL] The full size at: [login to view URL] This quick project can be split into two parts. 1. Use CSS to resize images I want to dynamically pull in images as backgrounds to my template layout, however these images could be of any size. Using only CSS, I would like to resize these background images to ensure that: - The image never appears more than 200px wide - The image never appears more than 200px tall - Images smaller than 200x200 are not resized at all - Aspect ratio is always maintained Bear in mind that the images I will pull in are always of different size and proportion - this must be a flexible and dynamic solution. 2. Center the image within a div What I want is to align an image (of variable size) right in the centre / middle of the parent div, so that there is an equal amount of whitespace on all four sides.
