Cardiac surgical patients requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) are at increased risk for hemorrhage due to necessary anticoagulation, in-situ cannulas, and disturbed hemostasis. The aim of this study was to explore risk factors associated with post-operative mediastinal hemorrhage for patients requiring post- cardiotomy ECMO.
