Essay on Taxation

I want someone to write an essay of 3000 words for me on one of the following topics: TOPIC 1 The UK is currently suffering from the effects of the ‘credit crunch’ and all political parties have differing opinions as to how this will affect the economy, and specifically, the effects as regards taxation. REQUIRED Explain and discuss (i) why taxation is so important politically in the UK and (ii) whether any political party would be able to influence the outcome of the ‘credit crunch’ by use of their tax policies. You may illustrate your answer with arguments for and against the current system from either side of the political spectrum and you may also use economic theory and revenue law examples as you see fit. OR TOPIC 2 Explain what you see as the basic objectives of the UK tax system. Critically discuss features of the present UK tax system that you can identify as going some way towards achieving those objectives, indicating the possible problems that the current ‘credit crunch’ may cause.
