I need to be able to get mail in squirellmail and I need to be able to get mail mail via windows live

Right now squirrelmail gives the error

Error connecting to IMAP server:

0 : php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known

So my IMAP is not set correctly, I also need SMTP set
