Library and application SIPxTunnel
Project description:
C++ library and application (Client and Server) for tunneling SIP protocol and RTP over the TCP connect.
As the basic possible to use open project "SIP Tunnel" http://siptunnel.sourceforge.net.
Main difference is: It should be compiled on Windows and Linux without usag of any kind of virtual machines:
like JVM, dotNet, Mono. Project can be a different in the internal structure It means different classes, structures, functions etc. However, it should be the same functional as prototype.
Main demand:
Programing language: C++
OS: Windows, Linux.
Compilers: GCC, MS Visual Studio 2005 or newbie.
External dependences:
Do not use Java, dotNet, Mono;
Minimal usage of third party libraries (except STL)
Source codes:
Should be completely provided to as.
Should be commented (English or Russian)
Project is completed when:
- It's completely assembled and run under the Linux Fedora.
- Under the Win XP M$ VS 2005 It's completely build and run.
- Test call from the SIP phones over this tunnel will have the same result as over the prototype project SIPTunnel.
- After the test period (negotiated) we will not see either the application errors or memory leak.

I have recently written an implementation of RFC 3261, thats portable on both Linux and Windows. This project looks quite interesting to me and I would really like to work on it.
