We require a simple HTTP daemon to be written that will handle ajax calls from web clients and act as a proxy between the client and a socket open to an IRC server.
Upon first request from a client the IRC connection is to be opened and a unique ID returned to the client via the HTTP protocol.
Then, once every second the client will post information to be sent to the IRC socket and the server is expected to relay this information and pass any information from the IRC socket back to the client.
All messages will contain the unique ID as well as an incremental id to indicate packet order.
This will be run on a dedicated cent-os server.
