This a conversion of an open source Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0 SP3 project into Delphi. The converted project will be made available as open source as well. NatLink is a Python extension module. This DLL contains the code which links Python to Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Dragon NaturallySpeaking to Python. It is both a Python extension module and a Dragon NaturallySpeaking compatibility module (i.e. it is a COM server). The project also has an EXE called [login to view URL] which is used to enable or disable NatLink as a macro subsystem for Dragon NaturallySpeaking. As a side effect, EnableNL also creates the necessary registry entries to use NatLink from Python. The Source files can be found at [login to view URL] Programmer(s) may take credit for the conversion. I will be credited as the sponsor/underwriter. A copy of Dragon NaturallySpeaking which is not free will probably be required to complete (or at least test) this project. At least DNS 7.x (9.5 is the latest) Preferred is needed. You can typically find copies of 9.5 for < $100 on eBay and less for version 7 or 8. I will consider bids from those unable or unwilling to acquire DNS, but special arrangements will have to be made so work products can be tested incrementally by me as part of the development process.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable (DLL and EXE as appropriate) form as well as complete source code of all work done (including unit and functional tests). 2) Only win32 versions are required. Versions must compile under Delphi 2006 and 2007 and should compile under Delphi 7. The win32 version should also compile under Delphi 7. Conditional defines may (and are encouraged) to be used to allow a given source file to by compiled by all versions. 3) All deliverables must comply with the licensing requirements set forth in Joel Gould's original implementation and not contain anything that would add additional restrictions to that license unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement. 4) Buyer and Seller both agree that this work product will be made available as open source.
