Windows System Power Control - Power Saving

A time sensitive project, looking for a fast turn around. The requirement: - a Windows XP/Vista/7 application which will minimise the power consumption of an idle PC - log duration of the power saving - log power saving by user - report power saving to a remote database - firewall pass through - AES encrypted data transmission - system power restore on keyboard or mouse or USB input Interface: - user registration/authentication with remote database - user configuration of power saving minimal/maximal/default - user configuration of idle time - Power units saved Power saving - Shutdown USB ports - HDD - PCI bus - External display - CPU throttling - wireless network - ethernet interface - other? Installation - Preferably a light application not reliant on .NET for ease of down load & install Wishlist: - application uses ACPI and - can be modified to run on UNIX & MAC as further projects - testing controls for evaluation
