We need 110 cryptic clues written for a Hidden Object game we are making. The Hidden Object game genre requires the player to find and tap/click a number of objects concealed in a crowded image displayed on screen. Each object needing to be found is usually listed using a simple word such as "clock". The cryptic clues provide a second level of difficulty to the game so the player may be tempted to play through another time. An example cryptic clue is: "watch the seconds go by". Formatting: The clues need to be written into a 'script' file that gets read into the game by its code. Here is an example: <object clue="Watch the seconds go by" objectname="clock"/> It's pretty easy. All you need is a word processor that can read XML files (I think that's pretty common in all text editors now). The XML files will be provided by us, as will a copy of the (nearly finished) game. Style: The clues need to conform broadly to ideas that would have existed in the early 19th Century (Jane Austen's time). This is required as the game is set in that period. We need these clues written pretty quickly - 2-3 days would be good!

I would very much like to take on this project. I have studied game development, although it wouldn't change much for a task like this. I have plenty of experience working with XML both from working on websites and on games. I will deliver within 2 days and leave the last day for review, in case you want to make changes.

Dear Sir, I've played many times this kind of games and one my hobbys is solving enigmas (from crosswords to puzzles, logic games and so on...). I have a 12 years experience in working with computers and a lot of imagination. I think we should collaborate, the professional way. Please let me know if you agree or not as soon as possible, as I must schedule my time accordingly.

Hello, I am currently studying as an English major and have passed several literary courses (including two semesters of British Literature). Because of my experience with the writing styles common in the 19th Century, I believe I can achieve the right tonality for your project. Thanks.

Dear Nickdammit, Ah, a perfect match, perchance? As a senior journalist for many years, when I'm not writing or editing, I am to be found buried in a broadsheet cryptic crossword with furrowed brow and quill. I devise cryptic clues all the time purely for my own amusement (yes, I should dust off my petticoats and get out more). I've also read most Austen novels (and other 19th c. writers such as Dickens) so I am familiar with both the language and the lifestyle of that period, if you want that incorporated into the script. And just yesterday I finished a book commission, therefore I am ready to work like a housemaid for 2 days in your service. So please throw your gloves at the competitors and wave your handkerchief at me. You will not be disappointed, Sir. Yours truly, Julietgn
