Project Description:
I need to hire a native English speaking copy-editor who has experience editing Christian manuscripts.
I need editing done for the first two sample chapters of a book that I am currently preparing to propose to several publishers. The word count of these two chapters combined will total around 9,000 to 10,00 words.
I would prefer to hire someone who is a Christian, since the book is a Biblical devotional for artists and designers with a very particular Christian emphasis and guided theme.
The point is, I need an editor who knows enough about Christianity to confidently edit and suggest alternate wordings of Christian concepts when necessary. I will also give special attention to any bidders who have edited Christian manuscripts.
The MS has been edited several times by myself and by a few friends, but I think it would benefit from a good professional grammar check. Any formatting suggestions will also be very helpful.
