I have excellent English language skills and I am based in the UK. I use Excel spreadsheets daily so am familiar with their format and am competent in this area. UK schools are on Easter holidays until 28/4/14 so I would not be able to contact them until after this date, but would be happy to do this. I have bid higher to reflect this as I will need the additional funds to cover phone bills.

I would be suitable for this project because I have experience gathering schools data for my regular job as a marketing officer. I have done similar things to this for my own company's mail outs and direct marketing campaigns (I work for an arts venue in north west England). As I am a UK national (with a British accent, naturally) the calling up of schools would be a lot easier for me. I have a UK telephone with plenty of free minutes so will incur no expenses. Also, receptionists and staff I call will be more helpful volunteering information. This project will take me three days to complete for the best results. Day 1 - I will compile the databases from the school websites using web search techniques Day 2 - I will phone schools to find the best contact person. I can use the stage to also verify other information in the databases. Day 3 - clean up and checking. Contact schools that were closed on Day 2 (if any). Some schools may be closed for inset days or staff training so it is wise to keep one extra day (or a few hours) for this purpose. This would be my first project on Freelancer so I'll be keen to impress. If all goes well, I'll be happy to work on further projects in this area if/when you want to expand the schools research further.

I am more than willing and able to complete this project for you. I have good attention to detail and am proficient with web research. I am very familiar with Excel and have completed countless hours of data compilation and entry. I wouldn't be able to call the schools on the phone as I am in Australia and do not have unlimited international calls.
