I had a course in Transport phenomena and in that the book you mentioned "we call it by Bird here, famous one " was the recommended text book . I got my master degree in Chemical Engineering, and pursuing my PhD degree in University of Southern California. I passed the qualification exam during in the first year of my PhD in Chemical Engineering. It should be not too hard for me.
