Hi, in many of the situations you can live without using the killer eval function. Please let me know if you are looking for a specific string to be evaluated or looking for a equivalent for the same function that should work for any generic case. can you please explain more, do you want to perform all the things that eval can do or just some limited functions. What i mean is do you want to perform addition multiplication subtraction and division only?? Can provide you sample if interested
