Some basic excel macros

I'm looking for someone who can write some basic macros that involve Excel using DDE links. I trade options using my brokerage firms API which they have three versions of (Excel, Java and C++). The Excel API is definitely not the most robust but i need to understand that before i can hire someone to write something in Java or C++. Essentially I want to take live data coming into the API using DDE links and at certain time periods (1 minute, 5 minutes etc.) places the price into another separate static cell. Once a certain amount of data (20 minutes of 1 minute price changes) is captured in the static cells I need a macro to run that manipulates that data and places it into another static cell.
