174392 Interactive Map - Flash

Our client is a real estate agency based in Brooklyn and we are creating a Brooklyn neighborhoods map for them. The preliminary version is located here: [login to view URL] The data for the script is generated from the following XML file: [login to view URL] There is also an Admin section to this script: [login to view URL] We need some help in refining the script above. It is created in Flash. Note: The neighborhoods which the client services (sells houses in) do have individual HTML pages. The neighborhoods which the client does not service, DO NOT have individual HTML pages. We have the list of neighborhoods, which the client services and which they don't. The script SHOULD work in the following fashion: - Mousing over (rolling over) the neighborhood name within the neighborhood list on the right should color its corresponding location (green dot) within the map in blue color. - If the neighborhood is the one which the client services, then the pop-up box should appear near the highlighted blue dot. The pop up bow should have the Neighborhood name, zip codes, and the "More Info" link. Clicking on the "More Info" link should open the neighborhood's HTML page in the same frame. - If the neighborhood is the one which the client DOES NOT service, only the location green dot within the map should turn to blue. Nothing else should happen. - In ALL CASES - mousing over the green dot within the map should highlight the neighborhood's name within the neighborhood list on the right. If the neighborhood is the one which the client services, then the pop up box should appear next to the blue dot. If the neighborhood is the one which the client does not service then the pop up box SHOULD NOT appear. - Clicking on the neighborhood name that the client services in the neighborhood list should open the HTML page for that neighborhood within the same frame. Clicking on the neighborhood name that the client does not service in the neighborhood list should DO NOTHING. - Clicking on the neighborhood dot that the client services in the map should open the HTML page for that neighborhood within the same frame. Clicking on the "More Info" link within the pop up box near the neighborhood dot which the client services should open the HTML page for that neighborhood within the same frame. - Clicking on the neighborhood dot that the client does not service in the map should DO NOTHING. THE CURRENT PROBLEM: - Mousing over the neighborhood name within the neighborhood list displays the pop up box for all neighborhoods. This is incorrect since the pop up box should be displayed only for the neighborhoods that the client services. - Mousing over the neighborhood name within the neighborhood list does not turn the green dot within the map to the blue dot. This should be applicable for ALL neighborhoods. - Clicking on the neighborhood name that the client DOES NOT service within the neighborhood list still tries to open the HTML page for that neighborhood. Since it does not exist, it leads to dead-end. Nothing should happen in this case.
