1. Notice to Bidders: (a) Bidders should submit their bid with the opening statement of "I have read, understand, agree, and would like to offer my professional services to complete your project." This will help me to weed through automatic bids, which of course will not be considered for this project. (b) Bidders should understand our rationale behind such a long Project Overview/Scope of Work and Terms and Conditions: i. 100% clarity - minimizes room for errors due to misunderstandings. ii. A clearly articulated project often results in a positive and productive experience both for the Service Buyer and winner (Service Provider)! 2. Project Overview/Scope of Work: (a) This project involves creating a high resolution, high color, 2D/3D digitally rendered logo using vectoring technology, which will be used for our website and a large banner. (b) Service Buyer would like to have 3 different examples, each using different color and font types for our company name ([login to view URL]). We are open to color and font type suggestions. Here are three colors we originally had in mind: Red: #C80708 Purple: #BB00BB Pink: #FF00CC (c) Service Buyer has attached an artistic rendering of what our new logo should look like. Service Provider must have the ability to replicate the man and woman as represented on the attached sample. NO "SWOOSH" LOGOS! (d) Service Provider will place the man and woman in the same exact positions as represented in/on the attached sample (behind and in front of the "X" in our company name). (e) Hair Color of Man = Dark Brown (Example: [login to view URL]) (f) Hair Color of Woman = Brunette (Example: [login to view URL]) (g) Hair Length and Style should be the same as the depicted in the attached sample. (h) Eye Color of Man = Blue (Example: [login to view URL]) (i) Eye Color of Woman = Blue (Example: [login to view URL]) (j) Service Provider must possess the ability to create our new logo whose quality is equal or better than the following examples: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] (k) Logo Size: 110 pixels high and no more than 440 pixels wide. (l) Banner Size: 28 inches high and 77 inches wide. Project Terms and Conditions: (a) Only those who are highly experienced with illustration and digital graphic design will be considered. Again, NO "SWOOSH" LOGOS! (b) Service Provider will provide Service Buyer with examples of his or her work in order to be considered for this project. All others will be ignored. (c) Service Provider will not use legally protected artwork and will create "original" images/artwork/digital renderings. (d) Service Provider will send Service Buyer 3 logo samples within 5 days of accepting this project. (e) Service Provider will complete this project within 7 days after Service Buyer chooses from one of the 3 logo samples. (f) Service Buyer reserves the right to request unlimited alterations to the logo sample chosen. (g) Service Provider will use true vector technology to create all images. (h) Service Provider will create all images using the highest resolution possible (preferably 300dpi). (i) Upon successful completion of this project, Service Buyer will make payment for services rendered and in accordance with the bid amount offered by Service Provider. (j) Service Provider transfers ownership of all samples, final images and files created for this project subsequent to the closure of this project. (k) Service Provider will provide Service Buyer all final logo files/images in EPS, PSD, AI, PNG, JPG, and GIF format. (l) Must possess the ability to read and write English fluently. (m) Must possess the ability to communicate with Service Buyer on a daily basis using one or more of the following methods: MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, GAF PMB.
