Hello, i am very experienced in writing web crawlers and scrapers. It would be written in Java (or Scala) so it would run on most operating systems. If you wish i can add a small user interface showing for example data tables. Using proxy servers should be no problem (usually i use small delays to avoid being detected but this is of course somewhat slower). The output can be anything (xml, excel...). Hello, I could do this project using Perl. I'd use the Tor network or a fresh list of proxies to use different IPs, so blocking shouldn't be an issue. I'd like to know which website it is and which data you'll need. I've set the deadline to 5 days after starting, but depending on the website it could take fewer days. Thanks in advance.

What we need to do is to create a Web query that will extract data from the website which we can refresh when needed. I have quite enough experience in vb. i have done similar kind of project during my course of Visual Basic. I used to get data from the NEWS websites and displays it on the application. so i have also experience of reading from websites. regarding language i think vb.net would be preferred one from my side. My approach for reading website would be the html parser which is in build facility in the vb.net platform. after parsing it we can grab the desired data from the website.
