Hi there,
I would like to have someone create a small calculator for my website.
I believe Javascript and HTML skill set is required.
I will attach an excel file, so that you can review but basically the visitor will enter how much they want to spend and how many days they are on vacation.
Then they will pick and choose the different categories that apply to their trip and fill in an amount (either a one time cost or a daily cost).
On Click "calculate" button, the calculator should [add up all the one time costs] and then [multiply each category cost by the number of daysand then add up each total].
The total of all the one time costs should be added to the result of [multiply each category cost by the number of days and then add up each total].
The final result should be displayed in box "Projection - Your Trip will Cost:"
* Result should be displayed with $ symbol
In the "Difference" box, the result should display: the difference between "How Much do you want to spend on this Trip?" and "Projection - Your Trip will Cost:"
* Result should be displayed as + or - with $ symbol. EXAMPLE: - $300.00 if negative or + $300.00 if positive
If the result is Positive, then in box "Are You On Budget?" a "YES" should be displayed
If the result is Negative, then in box "Are You On Budget?" a "NO" should be displayed
Take a look at the format attached (I don't have formulas in there) and let me know if you have questions.
I have several years' experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This project is relatively easy and I could complete it quickly. Please see PM for details.
Greetings. I can certainly construct your trip planning calculator. I have built a number of JavaScript based calculators. Please see my PM for examples. Thanks.
