We have a web app design that includes a small mini Ajax calendar to show when task and milestones are due. We have the general design done and it is attached. The calendar has 3 views/states. 1) The month view which shows all the days of a month. It will highlight the 'today' cell and will also highlight any cell that has a task or milestone due on that day. 2) When clicking a cell that has a milestone or task due, the section will show a list of the tasks due on that day. So, the mini calendar will disappear and the date with the list of due items there. This view ONLY shows the tasks/milestones due that day. 3) The third view is a list view for the entire month. It will show all tasks/milestones listed in chronological due date each with a header of the date due separating them. All these functions must be done with ajax and no reload or disturb the rest of the page. This widget will sit in a sidebar as shown in the picture. We will deliver a coded html page that you will need to build this widget into if you are accepted to do this job. We will require you to mockup the 2nd and 3rd states described below before you get to actual coding so we can make sure your designed are on the right track. If you do well and show your proficiency in AJAX, we have many more parts of our web app that could use your help.
