Synchronous machines running as motors without any intentional mechanical load on the shaft can be used to generate reactive power. They are used in power systems as reactive power compensators to keep the voltage levels at selected buses within acceptable levels. Although capacitors compensators are much less costly , the dynamic behaviour of synchronous machines make the system more stable. The objective of this project is to determine the dynamic behaviour of synchronous machines and model the synchronous machine and the power system to predict the dynamic behaviour. Project Timeline is 30- 45 days for the perfect outcomes of this. Need to be done PERFECTLY!
