Sandwich composite beam Data is entered for beam dimensions length, width and thickness in mm i beam web thickness, top plate thickness, bottom plate thickness composite beam top layer thickness, bottom layer thickness shear strength, flexural modulus,elastic modulus, specific gravity value for structural material and core material etc Spreadsheet shows a calculated weight for each beam Assume load is applied uniformly over the top surface of the beams fixed at ends Design graph with plot curves of elastic deflection verses load for each beam with linear scales from zero load to max load (non elastic) graph scales auto range mathematical notation of formulas must be provided
