I want a really simple android widget, design dosn't matter at all. It just needs to stay on my homescreen and have couple of buttons. If one of the buttons is clicked, it should establish a tcp connection on port 80 to a IP adress, and when just send some data like "unlockdoorXhxmslGw5" (the last data is static, I will give you that to) and just close connection again.
The data is different for each button of course, but a maximum of 5 buttons is needed. I would prefer that the tcp connection and so is done using a function like sendTcpData(string to send) so i can edit it myself. I'm a pretty skilled programmer myself with a couple of langauges like PHP and C# in the bag, but I'm not very good at Android developement yet, and I'm really in need of this simple widget.
If TCP connection dosn't suit you, I can also take it as POST over HTTP (to a PHP script, i write that myself.) In fact even GET is acceptable, but then you must include some sort of SHA1 checksum based on timestamp as I don't want it to be TO easy to hack (like if the admin sees the logfile of accesed URLs)
Anyway, I must tell, the budget is kind of low. $20 to $50. I know this sucks a lot ! But I'm hoping for someone who is thinking "That's so easy, let me just put it together in 10 minutes." To show up.
One last thing, I want the sourcefiles afterwards, Prefered as an Eclipse project.
I can build that for you, since I have done something similar in Android using TCP protocol. I will build it so it will be easy for you to modify and customize for your project.
