Device : Omnia i900
OS: Windows Mobile 6
Description: WM6 includes a mouse cursor mode, in this mode the d-pad controls a mouse cursor which can be used to select things on the screen rather than using the touch screen. ( This is already part of the OS ). This option can be accessed through "Finger Mouse" in Settings.
I am looking for an application which can run in the background and read the x and y value of the mouse cursor. Then, based on where the mouse cursor is, a sound file is to be played. So there will be different regions on the screen, and depending on which region the mouse cursor is in the application will play a sound file for that particular region.
So basically, this application needs to read the x and y value of the OS mouse cursor and then play sound files based on where the cursor is.
Omni i900 is still Windows Mobile 6.1, so we could use .NETCF 6.1 SDK for presenting this kind of function. For catching the mouse/tap position, you could catch the system state. This event/system state can be triggered from any application or OS. Then simple get the X/Y value for further process. I could show you a demo for this purpose. Let me know.
