I had worked and performed QA Testing at EA MOBILE PVT LTD having an experience of 17 months. As a QA Tester I will be testing Mobile applications for functionality and usability; tracking, recording and verifying discrepancies; following and recommending quality assurance procedures. o Manual Testing on Mobile applications for different platforms like J2ME, RIM, BREW, Symbian, WINCE, Blackberry,IOS and Android Platforms o Analyzing mobile applications to document software defects as part of a quality control process in mobile application development. o Test different levels and versions of an application and identify problems and suggest improvements. o Document each 'bug report' into a Software Quality Management system and work to strict deadlines. o Involved in Functional testing, Performance testing and Regression testing. o Part of the elite training team which trains the interns regarding the entire QA Architecture and Testing. o Bugs are reported on a secure online bug tracking tool known as JIRA and DEVTRACK. o Took additional responsibilities in the absence of a Floor Lead/QA Test Lead which deals with handling the team as well as Opening and Closing of Bugs/Issues and assigning the devices for testing. o Gave presentations for upcoming projects and made sure that the application was bug free. o Dealt with various loading procedures using tools like loading the App loaders, Nokia PC suite, GPRS, SDK's (Software Development Kit), BREW APP LOADER, Microsoft Active Sync. etc. o Provide maximum Quality and productivity for the stipulated Business Unit also making sure that the project deadlines are met. o Experience in working on "Device Anywhere Tool". o Worked on different carriers like 3UK, Generic (INTL), Telstra, Sprint, ATT, TELUS, NAZARA etc... o Was involved in Production Testing in which the applications are tested in their development phase before they come for QA testing. o Performed Tier testing (compatibility testing) on compatible devices. o Performed Localization for various projects which deals with testing the applications/Applications on language other than o English; like French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Czech, Hindi, Thai, and Chinese. All these languages are tested using MTF (Master Text File).
