This project is pretty straight forward. We have already developed this however we are having major CPU and Performance issues so we are placing this project on this site.
You will need Visual Studio 2010 which is currently in RC and can be downloaded for free via:
[login to view URL]
What we need is to have the WPF Browser which can be found at
[login to view URL]
This browser has both Zoom in, Out, and Rotate ability.
What we need is to have this browser integrated into a Multi Touch application which can be found via the link below:
[login to view URL]
In the above link, you can compile the application called "TouchExample" this is the application i mentioned. Before you run the application be sure you have some pics in your "My Pictures" folder to test.
Now, the point is to have the WPF browser Multi Touch capable. so look at the Breeze Framework [login to view URL]
And you can look at the TouchExample app where they make pictures Rotatable and Scalable (zoom in and zoom out ability)
In order for you to be able to test whether your applications are working you will need a Simulator to simulate the touches for multi touch. Use the following:
[login to view URL]
You just need to make the browser the same, the main trick is to keep an eye on the CPU, if there is no interactions being done the CPU should remain close to 0.
Please note, regarding the WPF browser above, YOU MUST have Visual Studio 2010 and read the note below....
I did have one issue with this and VS2010/.NET 4.0, it turns out that the ChromiumBrowser was built using a V2 compliant version of .NET, so I had to allow for this in the [login to view URL] which you can see below where I use the useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy attribute.
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<configuration>
<startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true">
<supportedRuntime version="v4.0"
sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0"/>
</startup>
</configuration>
Now if you are able to do this project, I have a LOT! more work and projects for you.
