I have a Windows 2003 Standard edition server with Hosting Controller. A contractor installed a .asp application that was accessed via the IP address, (as opposed to via a url). It worked fine for a while, but is now not working. He also set up a domain directly instead of through Hosting Controller. I want to:
1) Backup the current mssql database, just in case
2) Remove the domain and reinstall via Hosting Controller
3) Fix (hopefully) the application installation or
4) Reinstall if necessary.
5) Documentation on what you do.
The app is TLM 4.0. I have attached the installation pdf here.
Here is the link to TLM: <[login to view URL]>
Since it was once working, it may be very simple.
Here is the domain url that is not working anyomore either:
This is a dedicated server and I have total access to it.
I realize there are several variables. I obviously cannot grant server access to everyone to take a look, so here's what I propose:
If you are familiar with Hosting Controller on Windows and .asp, you should be able to give me a bid on fixing the [login to view URL] url and include an hour for looking at and perhaps fixing the TLM installation. If it is determined that the hour is not enough to repair the installation, you can propose an additional bid for the repair.
Please do not bid if you don't have the skills for the entire project. If more than the hour is needed to fix the installation, I expect total honesty as to why.
I hope this makes sense. Please feel free to ask any questions.
Mike
