Paid on delivery
We have an asp.net 2.0 website (in vb.net) that connects to sql server 2005 backend. We have been coding pages that define (in code) a google map, connect to sqlserver, bind the data to a gridview, feed the gridview coulmns to a map, and present the map. We want to move to something that will be more dynamic. So we are looking for an example aspx/vb.net page that will. 1. make a call to the database to fetch a set of Google Map settings stored as XML. (This should include all preferences on the map itself (size, position on page, w controls or not, satelite, hybrid, etc, within the Gmap 2 options 2. Make a second call to the db to fetch the data in an XML format (from an stored procedure that renders the data for xml. This should include: Latitude, Longitude, Label, html for pop-up, marker icon, shadow icon, marker size, etc.) 3. Make a third call to the db to fetch the data in an XML format to deliver a polyline, from an stored procedure that renders the data for xml. This should include: Latitude, Longitude, Label, html for pop-up, and any other associated data within the Gmap 2 options 3. Render the map. The code should, handle null responses from items 2 and 3 gracefully. Also, there needs to be a way to tell the page to render (or hide) the point data in a grid and to deliver (or not) driving directions from the first data point to the last delivered In the case of driving directions, the total mileage should also be saved back into the database with an SP that looks like spPoint2PointDistance_Save *Lat1, Long1, Lat2, Long2, distance* So the delivery will be: 1. the aspx/javascript/vb.net in the page 2. several examples of the XML for step 1, 2 and 3. 3. A stub for spPoint2PointDistance_Save If any of this doesn't make sense, please provide an alternative. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform IIS 6 w asp.net 2.0, Dundas Chart Enterprise (most recent version), SQL Server 2005
