FTP

I don't need a complete FTP application. What I need is a stand-alone program that uploads to a server, downloads from a server and deletes files on a server. I have a program that we use at my office that I need to update at times. I do the coding at home, and then I upload the updated files to our server. That allows those at the office to automatically have their copies of the program updated without me having to go to each computer and manually do it. I've been using the WinInit coding but I've had nothing but trouble with it. This is how the program should work: 1) The main program will call the FTP app. 2) The FTP app will process according to the command line sent by the main program. Right now I send "download" or "upload" depending on the needed operation. 3) If the command line indicates "download" then the FTP app checks the registry key at "HKEY_LOCAL_SYSTEM, Software\OfficeAssistant\Download" where the files to be downloaded are stored. It iterates through each key, collecting all the file names into an array, then it begins to loop the downloading process until each file has been downloaded, timing out if need be. Of course, the whole program simply terminates if there is nothing in the registry to download. 4) The program disconnects, sends a command line to the main program, saying "complete", then it terminates. Naturally, the upload process follows the same guidelines. There doesn't need to be any boxes or forms because there is no interaction with this particular app. It is maintained by the main app, and will run silently. All it needs to do successfully is be able to upload, download and delete as an FTP application should. It must also read from the registry. And it should not be prone to error if for some reason it cannot connect or process. But the main thing is, I don't want it to have to rely on Internet Explorer or any other program in order to do it's job. I want it to be complete in itself. NOTE: The FTP app receives the server host particulars from the registry. The keys are as follows: "HKEY_LOCAL_SYSTEM, Software\OfficeAssistant\Config\address" "HKEY_LOCAL_SYSTEM, Software\OfficeAssistant\Config\username" "HKEY_LOCAL_SYSTEM, Software\OfficeAssistant\Config\password" Keeping with that form will allow me to simply test the EXE you create without needing to hardcode any server information.
